What’s the relation of viscosity dynamic number cP and mm2/s for C272?
As regular viscosity data, our DZ272 is less than 142cP at 25°C usual temperature, but some company would like to use the viscosity unit of mm2/s, how to convert them?
We know that every goods in different temperature will have different density, because if the temperature is higher, the volume will be bigger, with same weight, the density will be lower. So usually we only talk room temperature 25°C. As same reason, for DZ272 (C272) extraction reagent, in different temperature the viscosity will be different, so we only mark the viscosity is less than 142cP at 25°C room temperature. If at 50°C working temperature, the viscosity will be less than 37cP.
If we convert to mm2/s, the viscosity will be 154mm2/s at 25°C, in working temperature 50°C, the viscosity will be 40mm2/s.
It means η=ν. ρ. Explain: The unit of dynamic viscosityηis cP, the unit of dynamic viscosity v is mm2/s, the density of DZ272 is about 0.92. So 1Cp=1mm2/s*0.92.
