To optimize both extraction performance and stripping efficiency, the main configurations as below:
Non-Modified Blends (Ketoxime + Aldoxime): By mixing a strong aldoxime with an easily strippable ketoxime, operations achieve high net copper transfer without needing chemical modifiers.
Modified Aldoximes: These formulations combine an aldoxime with an equilibrium modifier.
Modifiers alter the activity of the extractant, making it easier to strip the copper. Hata hivyo, over-modification can slow down extraction kinetics or increase crud formation.
