To optimize both extraction performance and stripping efficiency, the main configurations as below:
Non-Modified Blends (Ketoxime + Aldoxime): By mixing a strong aldoxime with an easily strippable ketoxime, operations achieve high net copper transfer without needing chemical modifiers.
Modified Aldoximes: These formulations combine an aldoxime with an equilibrium modifier.
Modifiers alter the activity of the extractant, making it easier to strip the copper. However, over-modification can slow down extraction kinetics or increase crud formation.

In summary, they exhibit excellent performance, rapid phase separation, low crud formation, and high stability against chemical degradation. They are highly efficient during the stripping stage under acidic conditions.
